Instructions

  1. Add butter and sugar to stand mixer, cream for 1 minute
  2. Add eggs and vanilla, cream for 1-2 minutes
  3. Add flour, baking soda, and salt, and stir to combine
  4. Fold in M&Ms
  5. Wrap dough in saran wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes
  6. Section dough into 24 smooth round balls
  7. Place balls on parchment-lined baking sheet, then back for 7-10 minutes, checking regularly for doneness
  8. Remove from oven to cool slightly, then transfer to a wire cooling rack

Notes

Replace 1 cup of M&Ms with chocolate chips or other ingredients for variety.
